I have a 2010 GT with the factory 19" wheels and am also thinking of powdercoating them. Does Powdercoating make them less suspectable to minor dings, scratches, etc....?

I just had a nice gouge in one of them, it only cost $130 to repair instead of buying a new one at Ford for $1550!

Powder coating may be a good choice to simply help protect the wheels!

PS I am considering flat black to go with the black GT

What place did you find in DC? I can't find any place in the area that does stuff like this. I'm also looking for a good place to buy wheels locally if you know of any...
Thanks!

I called Ford and said I had a 2010 GT Premium with the 19" wheels, how much for a new one;

His reply was "oooooo, $1550"

I think you should have probably called back and talked to someone else. That must have been for all 4. I doubt a set of stock 2010 GT wheels cost over $6k.
