Default License Plates Poll - Do You Blur Them?

Do you blur your license plate? What are your thoughts on blurring vs. letting everyone see your plate?

I really don't get the point. It isn't like its your SSN. You get a new one every x months anyhow. Not like there is much somebody can do with it.

I never saw the point either...maybe I'm missing something but why purchase vanity plates if your going to blur them in pictures? If you see Ohio plates that say "SIK S197" be sure to introduce yourself, lol

I guess the only reason is if you show your plates, then if you SAY you just raced someone on the street, you can get in trouble. But then again, I thought you can type whatever BS you want and it can be truth or made up (theyd have to prove it in court = $$$)

You have the plate exposed every time you leave the garage. So what difference does it make. I've never understood that concern that people have.

I personally think blurring distracts from the picture. If you want to blur the plate just remove it. And really would anyone on here care about what your plate number is? Probably not.

I was friends with a guy that had some sort of argument with someone over the internet. The guy used my friend's license plate number (found on some pics) and had a "friend" do him a "favor" - long story short, he got my friend's address and messed up his car pretty bad. I've been blurring out my plates ever since.

Yep, got sick of hearing "Dom Torretto" jokes and "Fast and Furious" BS. Also got tired of random cars trying to race me (didn't completely go away but you'd be surprised at the retards that tried to race me because of my plates) lol
