Default AUX button on an 05 mustang v6

I have heard rumors that there is an AUX port for a double male jack in the back of the stock head unit. If this is true has anyone done a write up on just removing a panel and running a cord back there ect? Thanks!

Please anyone? I don't want to swap the head unit right now and to have a shop do it would run me 150$. Anyone at all?

It does not exist. I just changed mine out with a JVC unit from Crutchfields. It is
a double din unit with HD radio and blue tooth. It works
great with the stock speakers and was easy to install with Crutchfields directions.

Interesting, im actually looking at this http://www.brandmotion.com/ipod-adap...s-w-o-sat.html This brandmotion kit seems highly recommended in some of the other threads and comes with free installation! Seriously wondering why ford reps are telling people there is one... that's just silly

went on the linked website,
checked cmpatibility finder,
states "not supported",
guess there is your answer.

Did not see that edcologne thanks for the catch! Curious why the 2005 mustang is not supported in that package, well that sucks.

I have this, had a friend put it in for free, took him about 30 minutes to put in. It has a switch to turn off your radio signal to prevent any interference from the radio, you can either use the AUX jack that comes with it or use the USB cord that will keep your Ipod charged, has worked great since day one. Hope this helps.
