What is different about 05-09 and 2010-2012 axel back mufflers?

the 11 and 12 have a little more rumble (not much) sportier look and are dual

all GT axle backs are dual.
11-12 have longer tips, fitment may be different as well. i think the diameter of the 5.0 exhaust is 2.75"
and the 05-09 is 2.5"
just get ones that are for your year.

actually, 05-09 is better.

Mechanical spec wise, it should be 05-10 for V6 and V8 Mustangs.

2010+ have different attachments to the over axle pipes, different hangers, and the tips are longer.
