Default tuner help plz

ok i posted awhile back about help with a tune. I had an o/r x pipe installed already and cai/tuner in the trunk. I finally put the cai on and uploaded the tune that was there (not knowing if the tune was compatible since the x pipe was already on). anyways after i installed the cai and uploaded the tune, it seemed to drive great. but i notice when im stopped the rpms are pretty low....is this normal? also when i got home i was coasting in 2nd gear and was slowing down and rpms went real low and the engine turned off....is this a bad tune or is that normal as well because i know shift points are changed during a tune???

thanks

It's possible that the new tune requires a few miles to even out some of the parameters but that's usually associated with clearing the adaptive learning (disconnecting the battery for ~20 minutes or more). Was the tune written for the O/R X? If not, it may be looking for the rear O2 sensors in which case it would throw a code.

im really not sure if the tune was written for the midpipe cause the x pipe was still installed but the cai/tuner was in trunk when i bought it. but there has been no lights or codes come on and the car sounds amazing now and runs good except for that low idol i was referring to, and then when it had cut off.
