Can you roast the tires in 2nd with 5.0L?

Yep u need to datalog and send it to a tuner. Call brenspeed or another reputable tuner. When I was at the track last week I was blowing doors off of 5.0s but I'm not exactly stock either. Once u get ur car sorted out u won't want to trade unless u want all the creature comforts they r offering with newer stangs
i'm guessing I need data logging software and connection from my laptop to the OBD-II connector? I'm hesitant just because I hear about people's cars getting blown up from a bad tune. But I do know brenspeed is very reputable

my 5.0 will ruin 1st gear, spin in 2nd up to a point, chirp third with the 3.73
Power shifting with street tires itll spin through third chirp 4th
power shifting with radials itll chirp all 4 gears.
my buddys with 4.10s will spin all the way through 3rd.

Well I'm sure with the combination of terrible tires and revving up to 4500rpms and dumping the clutch you can probably roast through 4th gear in the "almighty 5.0"
the stickier the tires the lower amount of spin! Put some Drag Radials on there for the summer!

Your boost should be dependent upon RPM and load, and ignorant of gear. As was mentioned, do some datalogging and figure out what's going on. Could just be in your head, unless you're verifying boost dropping with an accurate gauge.
The Saleen will roast 1-2-3 pretty well on the stock Nero's. But unless it's the middle of summer on a hot day, our temps rarely get above 80 degrees so they don't exactly get super sticky.

Yes...and I wasn't even trying. You can start in 2nd and smoke into 5th. Easily.
