The last 3 times I have been rear ended were all by other men... That might throw your "research" out the window there ninefooter, but there are definitely as many dumbass guy drivers as there are women drivers...

If people followed that, the birth rate would drop considerably, lol.

Are they gonna write for a new cover?
I'm going to the body shop tomorrow. Now I'm worried. My dad told me to see if the trunk would open. It did, but now it won't close. The lock is about a half inch off.

- How many female drivers vs male drivers
- How many miles per year the average woman drives vs the average man
- Then calculate how many accidents are the male and females fault.

Then break that down into % and we get a realistic number of how often a woman causes someones bumper to contort vs men.

This might take a bit...
Last time I was hit was a guy around my age texting. This time a woman looking at her daughter. Main point, pay attention to the ****ing road!

Your tail panel is pushed in so the latch isn't lining up anymore.
It's not real bad to fix and you don't have any structural damage until the quarters start to buckle, so you'll be OK.
Have them remove that bumper and assess the damage behind all that.
Good luck man.

I can't find statistics on men "at fault" vs women "at fault" only just being involved in so I can't finish it, but here's where I left off:

2009 US stats:
Total Male Drivers: 104,261,813 - 49.74%
Total Female Drivers: 105,356,573 - 50.26%

Male average miles per year driven: 16,550
Female average miles per year driven: 10,142

Total male miles per year driven on average: 1,725,533,054,800
Total women miles per year driven on average: 1,068,526,353,366

So men obviously spend more time behind the wheel increasing exposure to accident risk.. Now if anyone can find out where to find at fault ratio instead of just involved in.. then it can be solved!

Thanks for the info Pascal. And AllState will be paying to replace my CS bumper whether they like it or not.

You'll still be paying the same deductible, might as well squeeze a new CS bumper out of them...

Sucks that you basically had the nicest rear end on the S197, only to have it replaced again.
