Question 2012 MUSTANG 5.0 GT VALUE?

THESE ATTACHED PICS ARE OF A 2012 BLUE/WHITE STRIPES GT WITH AUTO TRANS AND 21,000 MILES. CLOTH SEATS AND IN GREAT LOOKING CONDITION. THEY ARE ASKING $25,900, BUT I THINK $20-$22,000 IS MORE IN LINE EVEN THOUGH IT IS A 2012, IT HAS HIGH MILES AND CLOTH SEATS INSTEAD OF LEATHER. ANY OPINIONS OR ADVICE IS APPRECIATED. (JPGS MAY NOT OPEN, NOT SURE SINCE THERE WASN'T A WAY TO ADD ATTACHMENTS TO THE THREAD)

You do know that leaving your caps lock on is the equivalent to yelling on the internet, and it pisses some people off, right?

Just a heads up I'd offer lower than asking price, high miles and auto!

go to KBB see what they have the suggested price listed at or check out autotrader to see what similar models are going for in your area.

Area is everything.

26k cash or did they finance it for you at like 15% or something

seems like a good price, 2700 below dealer invoice, seems kind of like a BS price or that you arent giving all information though. Seems like theres got to be some catch , or the dealer just straight up lost ~3000. Bad business by the dealer i would say since im sure they could have found a person that would pay more.

On a side note, i got mine for around the same, but its a premium 2011 and had 15k miles on it.

I haven't bought it. Just looking which is why I am looking for opinions of those "in the know"... like you guys. As far as giving all the info... what you read in the link I listed is what I know. Period... No BS. I have primarily been looking at older cars 2005-2008 for $16-$20,000 based on options and miles and came upon this car at a local dealer. Sorry about the caps lock... I am aware of the implications, but wasn't paying attention as I typed it out. So in essence based on what you guys have said, if I can get this car for $22,000 I should buy it even though it is a 1 year old car with 21,000 miles? Thnaks for the advice. Jerald

Oh, and I'll be paying cash for whatever I decide to buy. No financing... so that should help with getting a lower price.

You should be able to find them for cheaper than that. I got my '07 with 80k miles in garaged condition with the $6k supercharger kit, wheels, and hood for $14k. This was October last year.
I would imagine you could find a 2007 with say, 40k miles for similar price...at least... patience is key for finding the right used car

I would imagine $22k would be a good buy for that car... only 1 year old

22k would be like nearly a 30% depreciation of total value in 1 year.. really dont think you will get it for that but you can try.
