Should have taken the money you spent on the audio equipment and rear seat delete and done the front seat brackets instead. Bad decision to not properly secure your seats and spend that money elsewhere.

Your life and the life of any passenger isn't worth $100?

Man, you would never forgive yourself if a passenger got killed or hurt because of $100. Just my 2 cents worth.

But as others said, fix the seat properly. As someone knowledgeable in engineering, the setup you have is a bad, bad idea. for many reasons.
The interior looks alright in my eyes, but the seats have to be fixed. Even in a crash at 30mph, there are tremendous forces enacted on ALL of the components of both cars. Now considering a crash at 50+, and the substitution of aluminum hardware (and using half of the amount of material as called for) for a steel frame, you're putting yourself in some serious danger.

http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/yo...lus-d_417.html

The yield strength of Aluminum (presumably 6061) is 95Mpa. A36 steel has a yield strength of 250Mpa. This is the force required to cause permanent elastic deformation (hence catastrophic failure). Now considering that you used half of the material you're supposed to use, the structural integrity is questionable at best. I think it's safe to say that you've reduced the strength of your seat brackets by a factor of 4 at the least.

Spend the 200 bucks, it may be the difference between a bad seatbelt bruise and broken bones in a moderate-severe accident.

I did the interior on my old Sport Trac and the humidity ruined a lot of the paint on the doors :\ Yours came out pretty good though, good job.

I would've kept the tan, and added black accents, or gotten it professionally done with carbon fiber. Base mustang rental cars come with an entirely black interior...
