Anyone trade in their 2009 GT Premium lately?
I'm looking into a 2013 5.0. Test drove one the other day and it's pretty nice. With a Kenne Bell on it then it would be real nice! If my '09 GT was stock I probably would have left with the car I test drove that day, ha ha. But I've got the Kenne Bell and some other stuff I'd have to take off before trading it in.
So that leads to my question, anyone trade in a '09 GT premium lately? I've got low miles (31,000) and KBB says my trade in value is $22k which sounds a little optimistic to me. I did an online appraisal through Autotrader and it came back with $19,500 which seems a little more realistic but it's still a guess.
Before I go and put the whole car back to stock I'd like to get at least an idea what people are getting for trade-in value. I'd honestly be happy with $19,500, that would give me a good chunk of trade in cash and seems like a fair price for me and the dealer.
It's worth putting it back to stock if I get a good trade-in price for it. If they're not paying that much then I'll have to think about it a little harder. The thought of uninstalling my Kenne Bell kit isn't painting happy pictures in my head, ha ha. But the thought of a blown 5.0 is a good one
Thanks in advance!

I was looking at 09s back in 2010 for 19,5 to 22,5. With as many miles as yours. Two years later and your car was appraised at 19,5? I'd take it and run. I feel as if too many 2013s hit the streets, your value will continue to fall. Act fast.

Honestly 18-19k would be ok to me, that still leaves me with equity in the car to put towards the new car.
Thanks for the replies!
