I have though of a cowl hood.
Well you said the striping would be removed. You yourself said you were slowly trying to remove the pinstriping slowly but surely from the car completely.

So why not remove flames that don't match anything and replace them with ones that do match when you remove the other parts on the hood, or better yet, when you get the cowl hood

Idk if it is within your means or not but why not take a little bit from your check each paycheck (assuming you have a job) and make it a mod fund? I take $100 out of every check of mine to invest towards my mods, I'm about to finish up my sound system sometime within the next month.

The pinstripes are actually painted. they are not tape. Putting 100.00 back each paycheck is a great idea.

I know this. Lol. I also know that the car was once your dads and he is the one who got the striping done. I think I recall you saying you just took over payments or something like that and that's how you got it. Anyways, that's off topic. Haha.

Your car is a show car and in my opinion the car is all over the place style whise. I know if is nowhere near complete I'm just trying to help you get some ideas to kind of center it all around. With the striping all over the car, the flames on the hood, the ghost flames on the blackout panel and the differences in the bumpers and stuff. Again this is just my opinion.

I think if you do plan to get a new hood then I wouldn't waste money on changing the stock hood until you get the new hood. Whether you change the hood or not I think the spears with ghost flames would be sick.

I'm sorry if some of this sounds like I'm being a jerk. I'm not trying to be I'm just giving you some of my observations.

Yea, the car was originally bought for it to be my dads daily but he has other toys now and the mustang has become mine. The car is a show. It used to be a daily but now is only driven maybe 1-2 times a week and on the weekends I go cruising in it for about 100 miles. None of what you said sounds like you being a jerk you are just trying to help me. I am just trying to change the look up a bit since everyone is tired of seeing the same old v6.

Here is a hood I was looking at.

Good I'm glad. Yeah that hood is kind of hard to work with stripe wise. The only thing I could see working with it would be LaMonds stripes or maybe some type of RTR hood design.

The RTR design would allow you to not have to worry about going past the hood and you could even do the stripe down the side to help give the side some more black if you choose to remove the rocker stripe. That would definitely change it up! Plus I'm sure you still have plans for that front bumper which would make it much more aggressive.

Sorry, I can't edit, I'm on my phone.

But the Cobra R hood would go well with what I orignally said. One person on here has the Cobra R hood and has spears on the side and it looks amazing. Idk why but I think putting the ghost flames on the spears would set it apart and tie into the car more.
