Default 06 center console power outlet

Mine went out a while ago during a road trip college visit and I would like to get it working again. I hadn't looked it up in the chiltons yet but I have replaced the fuse and there isn't a penny in the socket. The old fuse worked when I tested it and I'm sort of at a dead end. Can one of you save me from chasing wires all over my car? I don't read any voltage across the socket so any advice on where to start would be appreciated.

Page 2, did you check fuse 61 AND 64 for the BEC? Likely you just looked at the wrong one.

I'll check again but those were the ones I checked. I want to say the manual says 64 for the center console and 61 for the one in the dash.

They are a direct connection to the BEC, so if it's not working, it either got cut, or the more likely answer is that if/when someone installed an after-market head-unit they unplugged it from the socket under there.

Check for voltage across fuse, then yank the center console cover like you were about to install a stereo and verify the plug is connected, gets voltage, and isn't corroded. After that, ya, you're looking at tracing it back to the BEC to see where it got fubar'd. May simply be the ground off of it, when you tested for voltage did you try another source for ground?

I can't remember which is which myself, so it's either Light Green, or Light Blue with a white stripe on it. You'll know for sure once you pull the console cover and look.
