That's one of the more exciting points im waiting to try out.

If I upgrade to GT rotors, or atleast something similar in size, my stock wheels won't fit, correct?

It depends. Were your stock wheels the 16s? If so then you'll have to get at least 17s.

Commander, what type of paint did you use and has it held up well? Also what do you use to remove the rust.

If I had my real axle laying around off my car, I would definately be painting it and de rusting it. It's a must I think. Still though, how many people look under your car? I own it and I don't even do that...lol I'd still paint it though while its just laying there asking you to.

Let me know if you need some 17s. I have some stock bullitts that you could get at a great price. Congrats on the upgrade!

I don't think anyone looks under my car, but it'll make me feel better if I have it painted. Just in case I get some guy looking everywhere on my car.

I see a lot of people with bullitts around here. They look really good, but i'm leaning more towards these GT500 Machined Wheels

That's fine, I was just throwing it out there as a VERY cheap alternative.

First I used a coarse power grinder and took all the rust off. Then I used a few coats of a product called Rust destroyer which is a primer that can be applied direct to the metal and will inhibit future rust and corrosion. after that cured (about a week) I topcoated it with a rust preventative enamel paint in flat black.

heres the tech. data sheet for the primer. It says it can be applied directly over rust. but thats never a great idea.
