paint problems
Hay guys!
I noticed some time ago that the paint started to bubble on the inside seam of lip of the hood and trunk ! i got the hood done but havent had time to go in for the trunk! i have 2010 gt with 35000 miles driven in on canadian winter so there was plenty of salt!! whats causing all of this!! i keep my car clean as im pretty **** when it comes to my car. seems to be an on going problem with the paint on these cars
has anyone had this problem?

Basically, there were an unknown number of improperly prepped hoods @ the assembly plant. the spots you are seeing are from iron flakes that got trapped under the paint.
It's oxidizing the metal, causing the paint flaking
It is not iron flakes under the PAINT. If that was the case when they repaint it the corrosion would not come back. My car is in the shop now getting it repainted for the 2nd time. My dads 2006 mustang had it repainted 5 times and it came back so we sold it.
