Default Steering Wheel Emblem

How do I remove it? It's peeling and such and needs to be replaced. Do I need to be worried about the airbag going off? Thanks.

I've been told it's a complete hassle (apparently doesn't turn out right or something) and just to replace the airbag if possible. Mine's got a dent in it from the previous owner and I'd love to replace it..

If anything has anything else to add, I'd love to know. Curious as well.

There's a thread on here that shows how to take it off. I don't think it's too big a deal. There are 2010+ emblems on ebay for like $39ish I think. I had mine replaced under ext. warranty. They replaced the entire airbag.

The installation instructions make this seem pretty good. Maybe what I read was someone wanting to use the same one he took off. In the instructions it says you will ruin the one you're taking off.

Then again, I'm not sure how much i trust ebay instructions either

Edit: After more searching, I can't find an exact replacement for stock...I for one like the tribar emblem. Wish I could find one on ebay.
