Hi!
To make my story short.
I installed C&L CAI I just bought from AM and loaded the 91 Performance tune from BAMA. It ran about ten minutes and check engine light, wrench light were on and I got codes P2104, P2112, and P2135.
I got new TPS .The car could not start and I got the codes P061F, P2104, P2106, and P2111.
I installed the old TPS, stock air box back and tuned back to Stock, It is OK now .
I am scared to death . I don't know what to do with the CAI. I just keep it in my closet.
I will contact BAMA later.

Give Bama a call. Trust me, it is definitely worth it. I did so when I had a tune problem. They asked me to datalog for them. I did, and within a day or so I got an email from Mike Wilson, the head tuner:

"Skyler, I will be calling Mike at Unique to work out dyno time so we can make sure your car is running properly."

I traded in the car so I no longer have need for the dyno time, but Bama was going to pay for dyno time for extended datalogging to get the tune corrected. That's the kind of customer service you can expect.

My first tune set was bad, found out it was for the wrong intake! Bama fixed it next day, ordered new tunes yesterday and they work like a champ! I love them!

I agree, they'll fix it. They have written about 4 tunes for me now, and they are all very good!

Thank all of you for your responses. I intended to put the CAI in closet for good. But; after reading your responses, I feel confident again. I will call them later.

Well, I'd have to say since one person in about 10,000 has had a problem with AM that we should simply boycott them. What a terrible track record.

BearKats15, it's obvious that you're just a kid and/or someone who has had little exposure to the real world. Just because you are one of the unfortunate to have an issue with a company's product, you shouldn't be bashing them until they have the opportunity to make it right, which I'm sure they will. I suppose patience comes with wisdom.

I have had direct contact with AM before. I had an issue that was both a problem from our end(they sent the wrong hood, and i had already painted it before relizing it was the wrong hood.) And with their amazing costomer service they made it completely right and went above and beyond by sending me a whole new hood free of charge. You just have to give them that chance to make it right =).

Seriously, you have to give people a chance. We're all human and make mistakes. I know it's you car, and we all understand how you want your mods now, and want them to work flawlessly, but sometimes things can go wrong. Who knows, they write a lot of tunes, maybe it's possible while writing tunes, they uploaded the wrong one on your tuner. Probably not, but you get the idea. They'll make it right, for sure.
