I had a similar experience though not as extreme on my 2011 GT. I believe the tuning tool is fine, however Bama's tune is a generalized tune and doesn't work under all conditions such as bad gas or high altitudes etc. While Bama was a bit late in getting back to me they did try to help, however I had already gone to a local tuner that fixed me up nicely.

Ironic. When I was trying to pass emissions I loaded one of the strategy tunes and my car wouldnt even start. I was saved by the bama tune.

then when i switched to the performance tune my miles until empty meter said i have 300+ miles until empty. currently i have less than 1/4 of a tank and it says i have 75 miles left. I bought the combo with the CAI and i LOVE the CAI but i hate the tuner and honestly wish they would fix this or take the product off.

Just a heads up for all of you people out there
Sorry to hear about your mileage and the issues you're experiencing! It sounds to me like there's something missing from the tune. It could have been human error on our part when creating your custom tune or even something that was left out of the tune form that we use.

We write all of our tunes from the ground up, so it's possible one of our team members made a mistake. If you can just shoot over your order info (order number or first/last name) via PM to AMDanBailer or AMShaneLesky, they'll get Bama in touch with you right away!

I'll bet you it's a 10 minute fix.

You can also call Bama directly if you want to, and one of our tuning specialists will get it fixed up for you. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 10AM-3PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Hope this helps!

I installed C&L CAI I just bought from AM and loaded the 91 Performance tune from BAMA. It ran about ten minutes and check engine light, wrench light were on and I got codes P2104, P2112, and P2135.
I got new TPS .The car could not start and I got the codes P061F, P2104, P2106, and P2111.
I installed the old TPS, stock air box back and tuned back to Stock, It is OK now .
I am scared to death . I don't know what to do with the CAI. I just keep it in my closet.
I will contact BAMA later.
Sorry about this, definitely odd! I went ahead and pulled up your order information, and I see that you ordered it for the C&L intake, and everything looks correct on the tune info side. I went ahead and got your information over to the Bama team and they're going to be getting in contact with you to take care of it! I'm sure they'll find either a mistake on their end in the tune or possibly a firmware update.

Either way, we'll have you running strong shortly!

this kind of response is exactly why I shop with AM. they take great care of their customers - even the ones that whine before they've given AM a shot to fix : )

Yeah, AM is usually my first stop when looking for anything Mustang related.

I looked at some of the OPs other posts. There may be other mods on his car he didn't tell AM about during his order, it could also be the wrong octane was loaded (too high) for what's in the tank, or maybe it was a mistake on AM's part, or the OP's part.

Curious to see what the fix is.

If it's his mistake it'll be interesting to see if he comes clean
