I put some Sumitomo HTR Z III summer tires on my stock rims and im pretty impressed how well they grip the road. Ive gotten on the gas hard in the rain a few times and stayed hooked. Ive only broken then loose once or twice on they bark pretty loudly trying to grab the road back.

Gears/CAI/TUNER will be a lot and enough for a while

I have FRPP lower control arms that come OE on GT 500/Brembo

$75 plus shipping - I bought them off a member here... He never used them, but they were take off's from AM.

Why didn't I use them? I bought them before I bought the car and I needed up with a brembo, lol.

LCA's dont seem like to bad of a install. I think ill get em all set up before i start taking the car apart that way just drop and bolt up and done. while the tune is loading hopefully have it all in within a total of 3 hours. I think imma like it just gunna need new tires soon :P i think im just gunna grab some 255's.

No problem! Check out the install guides on our product page for the upper/lower control arms to help, if you like. Some Nittos will help too!

I know my buddy has a 5.0 with the boss power pack, full exhaust, and nitrous. his car is quick as ****. lol. My goal isnt to outperform my buddy's 5.0.......its to shut up my buddy in his ****ing SRT-4 neon.

my buddied neon mods:
borla 3in from stock cat back.
intake
wastegate spacer
AGP stage 3 wastegate

rest of the mods unknown. but he is running 18psi. His car is quick dont get me wrong but i hate how he is constantly talking **** and saying "oh i ****ing smoke mustangs". So i wanna bring the best of the 5.0 out and completely skull **** him. My buddy in his 5.0 taught me how to launch the other night. (hold traction control for about 10seconds. and hit it again shortly after.........leaving advanced traction on and TC off). So we will see how that goes. need to practice. Launch at any RPM's? or just stomp it?

Thanks guys!

These control arms:

18x10s from AM

and 285/40-18 NT05Rs.

Tell the neon you'll only race from a dig and then split his head wide open.

1k on performance? GT500 Mufflers, JLT intake, Bama Tune

1k on appearance? GT500 spoiler, tint, lowering springs.

Thanks guys!!! Yeah I picked up ford racing axle backs for a whopping $80!!!! so first mod done! I'm looking at the bama tune and possibly a lethal performance H-pipe. Gains are supposed to be 15whp on h-pipe. Or should I get a intake? Control arms are something imma do soon to yeah from a dig I'm sure I could probably tear him a new one. His car dynoed at 247whp and like 260ftq. Only reason that piece of shuts fast is cuz it's weight. But I'm sure with axle backs, tune and intake and stuff I'll slap him.

You should tell your buddy that your car feels awfully slow for its 412hp and that'll he'll probably beat you. Then when you destroy him it'll make him feel that much worse.
