Convertible questions
#21
I actually think my convertible is easier to see out of than my coupe. The blind spot is worse for me on the coupe, and the seatbelt is harder to grab too.
It could be because I'm 6'2" tall, and I just happen to hit that sweet-spot when it comes to the blind-spot

Love my convertible. Yes, there are these things that other mentioned - chassis rigidity, little more noise, can't put in car wash, etc - but they are really minor. You don't think about any of them after a while. The only thing that bothers me a bit is visibility when backing out of my driveway to a parking spot when the top is up - strongly recommend getting a backup camera or sensors.
Btw, where are you going to be stationed when back in the states? Living in CA, I got mine knowing that I can drive w the top down ~300 days a year. If you'd be in a cold or rainy area, perhaps it does not worth it...

I'm not sure where I'm going after here, I still have two years left in Okinawa. I will try to go somwhere with no snow for sure. I had to sell my 2010 GT to come here so I want to get a new one when I go back, the exchange her on base has a 2013 V6 vert that I sat in the other day but we can't test drive them or take delivery of them here. I know for sure I will be ordering a Mustang but if I want a vert I may have to go with the V6 instead of the GT ( I'm trying to save money for when I retire in 3 years)
