Yep, you probably could have bought two, but that is all water under the bridge now! I imagine the seller is still surprised at happened...

KBB is about 12-14k....

Sorry but you paid way too much for a stock mustang. I bought my '06 and about 6k miles less back in 2009 for around that price out the door (tax included). Prices should of dropped with the additional years and the demand for 11,12 and 13 model years with the 5.0.

However that is neither here nor there now, just enjoy the mustang.

I've got an 06 Mustang GT...

Eclipse DVD/NAV.
Offset 295/255 tires/DD bullitts and a few other things... with that being said... I only have 48000 miles and I can't imagine getting anywhere near $20k for my car..

Personally I think you over paid, but.. I'm glad to see someone got that much out of their car at the same time. I guess it's a win win if you're happy..

Although, I think these cars are horribly made and junk... to be honest. Nothing seriously major has gone wrong with my car... all the basic things that everyone else has reported. Water leak, alternator, fuel pump, separator plate, etc... but just a lot of tiny things that annoy the heck out of me.

I have not been in love with a car like this in almost 20years. I agree I overpaid but I love her. Great thing is that I can baby her since I have my truck too. She will never see snow or sleep a night outdoors. I can't wait to wax her this weekend. Come to think of it I don't think I have ever loved a woman this much. And I have four kids with same woman and was married a long time. I vow to treat this girl right!!

I see '08's and '09's going for less than that. I bought a cherry '06 Pony package in early '09 with 9600 miles for $13.5k. But the deal is done and you love the car so, "money is no object".

I agree with the rest. Never look back... It is what it is. I sold some gold a few months and realized I could have gotten $300 more, but the deed was done. (I was pissed at myself for a few weeks, lol.)

The questions you asked: I bought a 07 premium 5 speed with 18K certified in August 2010 and I feel I overpaid at $19,800.

The most important part is that you like it. Love it and learn from it.

Congrats on the new ride... Now it's time to start modding it!

The right attitude there.... We've all overpaid on something....Don't feel bad... Enjoy life and the women..... then the kids

I overpaid for mine, but KBB is still about $24k for mine, so I'll take it. Regardless I love my car and don't plan on ever selling it. Trust me, the car will easily last you well over 10 years. Have fun!!

If you love the car and are happy with the price you paid, then you didn't overpay. For reference, I paid 25,570 for a brand new loaded GT Premium in '06. When I look at what brand new Mustang GTs cost today, I have no idea how anyone can afford them. Congrats, nice car.
