Default Who has Pype Bombs?

After hearing a stock 2006 GT with Pype's "Pipe Bombs" yesterday, I'm feeling I might need to replace my Magnaflows! You know, I can't have a stock car sounding better than mine!

I changed the oil on the car, which I see around almost weekly, so I got to check them out pretty good. Seemed like a good fit and good quality, but what are your all's experience with them?

My Magnaflows are barely louder than stock, and fit poorly. If I put them snuggly on the end of the axle pipes, then the tips are slammed against the bumper. If I line them up nicely with the bumper, they are barely on the axle pipes and leak...

You can snug the Pype Bombs up against the knub type fittings on the over axle pipes and they stick out a bit from the bumper. Not too far, but it gives it a great look from all angles in my opinion.

I might be selling mine soon if you're interested

I absolutely love them, but I'm moving onto louder things! That being said I love the tone and everything about the exhaust. The only thing is at my school everyone's got 3rd and 4th gen f bodies, 5.0 mustangs, and new edges, and while the pypes sound great by themselves, I can barely hear myself when cruising with all of them. The final straw was at my local cruise night a few weeks ago when I heard my old auto teacher's built 94 cobra and a friend's 09 with cams and full exhaust. So now I'm moving from there!

Default Love them

I put them on and loved them nice sound. But after installing my off road x pipe and LT headers it was too loud and quite noticeably illegal. Switched to flow master american thunder and its perfect now.

That thought definitely crossed my mind! The car I saw them on was virtually stock performance-wise (minus K&N) and it was pretty loud. I'd love to do a cam/LT upgrade in the future and I think that would make it a bit over the top.

I'll probably keep my MagnaFlows for future use. They may sound better with more mods behind them.
