I'd rather find one with a little less use, preferably one that was stock : )

I liked the wheels. A car with 100k miles can be just fine depending upon the maintenance and how it was driven. There are people on this site whose cars have 150k to 200k and the cars are still going strong. I'd much rather get a car with 100k miles which has had great care over a car with 60k miles with lousy maintenance.

The dealer probably got the car for next to nothing. $8-10k probably a good range for a good car.

Indeed.. I looked at the car.. 10k, no more.. otherwise tell them to eat it. If your max range is 15k, look at a 00-04.. those cars a freaking NICE when modded to perfection and can be had with much lower miles.

Otherwise, bank some cash over the next year or two (thats what i did) and get a newer one.

I hope you'd be willing to spend some money to get rid of those ugly-*** chrome wagon wheels?

If I got them anywhere near 10k I would probably grab it up. 12k is way too much for 100k+ miles.

First off, don't even consider the dumb advice of buying an 04 or older, those cars date back to the 70's. The frame on an 04 dates to 1978 with a small update in 94 to 04. Those cars are piles of junk compared to the S197's. Do not consider this what so ever.

Secondly, never buy a car that had mods on it. Typically people take off their mods so you have to be careful and inspect it thoroughly but cars with mods typically get beat on. Most people piece out their mods and sell the car stock, why? They get more money.

Just wait till you find the perfect car, this car is way over priced for the mileage. It's an 06 so if you have 3 years of payments the car will be 9 years old before it's paid off, this doesn't leave you with much enjoyment later on when it's free and clear..

Are you high or just stupid? lol I own both an '04 and an '06 and prefer my '04 as a daily driver. You must have NO experience with the vehicles of which you are discussing at all. And as for the age of a vehicle leaving little enjoyment...that's just retarded.
