Perhaps there's air in the clutch line ... might just need to bleed the clutch. Post #7 in this thread describes the procedure that a shop would perform to bleed the clutch.

I have this clutch sitting in my garage. Just out of box, never installed still wrapped. $200+shipping and it's yours. PM me if you're interested. I have no use for it as it isn't compatible with my '04 and my '06 is an auto.

But also ive noticed recently that my clutch feels different before i was able to bring up half way before feeling the "biting point" now if i bring it up more than 25 percent the car starts shaking and feels like it going to stall. I might take it to a different mechanic tomorrow and get a second look at it
Ok, sounds like you need a new clutch.

I recently installed Hurst shifter on my 2007 gt. I have to attempt to put it in first gear for it to go in on a complete stop, this is the same for reverse. But when the car is slowly rolling like a 1-2 mph, it goes right in. What yall think the problem is?
