Default Simple Tune Question

Can I use my tuner to change my rear tire size, and/or turn off my rear 02 sensors to accommodate an o/r pipe, WITHOUT disrupting the more technical portions of my custom tune?

I don't want to have to bother my local tuner (Who is an hour away anyway) for little things, but I REALLY don't want to screw up what he's done.

Tire size yes you can use the tuner, 02 sensors I don't think so.

The answer first lies with what parameters your tuner left open for you. Changing tire size should be one of the options left open.

Turning the O2's off might not be an option that your tuner chose to leave open for you.

Only way to find out is to plug the tuner in and answer "yes" when it asks if you want to modify settings on the tune. Then you can scroll through and see what parameters you have available.

Thanks Jim!

So it turns out he wrote me two tunes in the first place, one is titled "93" and the other "93 off-road." I guess that solves the mid pipe question! I selected the option to view parameters I could change and it took me into changing the spark. I backed out as fast as I could, lol. There's a good chance I'll see the tuner tomorrow at Fun Ford Weekend, and I posted this question on the local website, which he owns.

One way or the other I'll figure it out. It's not that pressing anyway, my rears are only slightly taller than stock right now.
