I'm not much into big wheels, I like a bit of meat on the tires, so 18's are what I'm running with 285/40 in the back and 255/45 in the front...

but since this is athread about big wheels, I won't bore you with a pic of my car, instead I'll link up a donk with 30's for your viewing pleasure...

I still don't get the whole big wheel thing, sacrifice ride quality and safety for what?

look through the pictures in this thread if you don't understand just how good 20" wheels can look. sacrifice ride quality? barely. they are totally safe as well.. not sure what you're talking about there.

face it - wheels are an appearance/aesthetics mod for the most part. sure, some will perform better than others, and most larger wheels are heavier than smaller wheels etc .. but it all boils down to preference and what's important to the individual owner. rather than try to understand it and agree with it - just respect the owners' decision.

19s and 20s are not outrageous or 'donked out' on these cars. while that picture is hilarious, I wouldn't compare it to any cars posted here. once you go 22+, that is highly questionable on a Mustang, but 20 and under look right at home, imo
