The wheels I'm looking at are +40mm.
The car is my DD.
The car is not lowered.
I put 30k miles on my NT555 tires before they wore out and do not want a DR or a softer tire. (300AAA UTQG)

Thoughts on:
275/40/20?
DIA = 28.7"
SIDEWALL = 4.33"

OR 295/30/20?
DIA = 28.1"
SIDEWALL = 4.06"

OR 285/30/20?
DIA = 26.7"
SIDEWALL = 3.37"

Fronts will be 245/35/20 or 245/40/20.
Those numbers are off , i think the 295/30/20 should be 27.1 inch diameter. I do currently have 295-30-20's and i will be going with 295-35-20's next time. A 28 inch tire looks best in these wheel wells imo.

agreed.

I have 255/35/20 & 285/30/20 staggered on 20x9 & 20x10

I will go next time 255/40/20 & (295-315)/35/20 (<- depends if I find a good deal. 10more mm can cost an arm and a leg ;( )

Here's what 20's will get you.

schooled off the line. Of course an impala is slow with or without 20's and there's always the ricer flyby to save face.

There's some sweet looking rims in this thread and some are blah, but 20's definitely look good on a lowered mustang. I went from 195/70/15's on my ford ranger, to 235/45/17's and the ride quality was ****. So don't tell me it rides just as good as stock, lol!

Mellowyellow, do you rent these rims or are you actually buying and selling that many rims.

my apologies, I think I meant to put 295/35 instead of 295/30 haha. I definitely want to go with a 28" Its just now I have to decide between the really expensive 295/35 or cheaper 275/40s...

I read on here to avoid the 285/30 with 255/35 because the fronts look bigger than the rears (sidewall that is..) and instead I should go with a 245/35 F and a 285/30 R or just get a different rear tire.

you could try 315-30-20 also, it would be a tight fit though youd need atleast a 10.5 wheel
