Default 2013 Mustang 3.7 aftermarket throttle body

Has anyone installed an aftermarket throttle body for the 2013 3.7 and dyno'd the results? I'm leaning towards getting a BBK throttle body but, I want to know specificly the gains/loses out of it. I'm not willing to pay $300+ to only get 10ish more horsepower. Of course, I know it's not going to make much more just off of a TB. I know you're only going to get so much out of that. Anyway, yeah, any one got an aftermarket one and dyno'd to see where the band changed or gain/loses in HP/TQ? Just curious. Thanks!

Unless you're moving significantly more air than stock (as in forced induction) you don't need one. That rule applies to the bulk of modern engines.

What he said ^
Odd are it's not going to help ya in a gain of power at all.

To add to that, many people run into problems in these year model Mustangs 05-current, when they install aftermarket throttle bodies.

I would not recommend it at all unless you are doing forced induction.

Aftermarket TB's are nearly useless on the 05's thru 10's and I've heard nothing otherwise on the 11's on up. Don't believe the advertising from the manufacturers and 99% of the retailors.

And op, $30.00 per 1 HP actually isn't a bad cost.

I agree with most of the posts on this top. Waste of money and one other item...if the 2011+ aftermarket TB are anything like those for the 05-10, they are crap. Stick with the OEM unless you have a really good reason to upgrade.
