Default Gauge cluster power on delay

Hey guys, I have noticed this going on with my gauge cluster for a few weeks now. The car is a 2005 w/ 70k miles and yes the battery was replaced about 2 years ago, its also in the trunk if that makes a difference. This is also a replacement cluster I bought about 2 years ago. When I crank the car the gauge cluster hasn't been coming on right away, its been taking about 3-5 seconds for it to come on; lights/needles, etc. Any thoughts?
