Lol, you don't actually.. I love Aimsoil but you are making them look bad right now.. I really hope you aren't actually associated with them.. 5-20 isn't even recommended (by drivers) to be used on our cars.. Why in the world would anyone go down to 0-20.. All that stuff is CAFE BS just to skate a tenth of a MPG better.. If you knew what you were saying you would have recommended 0-30

Just going by the recommendations from Amsoil. Take a look for yourself https://www.amsoil.com/mygarage/vehiclelookup.aspx.

Where is unleashed when you need him?

I run 10w-30 signature since the car doesn't see cold starts.

Also amsoiler, the first step into people taking you seriously is to at least proof read your posts before you submit them.

"withbwite".... come on now.

Why is it that oil threads always turn into grumpiness everywhere. Its everybody's individual car, let them do what they want to it.

I don't drive a lot of miles, maybe 5000 per year. The car is pretty stock. I do take it to the drag strip a few times a year, so that may or may not be an issue. What grade oil do you recommend? Can I use 5-30 or is it too thick?

5W-30 will be fine, if not better than 5W-20.

thanks. How many quarts does the 5.0 need? I assume which brand I use is irrelevant given how little I drive the car, no? It gets changed every 6 months currently, with the first one done by Ford so I have no idea whats in it right now

This is one of the best articles I have seen about oil and what weight to use. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/motor-oil-101/
