Default suspension (lowering) question '11 GT

I have a question about this handling kit from Eibach. Does anyone know exactly how much this kit will lower the car? The description says about 1" front and 1.5" in back...I left a question at AM about this and so far no reply... I was hoping someone has installed this kit and knows for sure about the drop. The body kit I want to purchase will have to wait until I have a better idea about the drop. I drive on fairly decent city streets, but there are a few nasty speed bumps here and there and I'm worried about my wife dragging the chin spoiler over them. Thank you for any help...

If you want to know the look you will get just google images the kit and you will get a ton of pics. From what I have heard of the Eibach its pretty much what it says it just depends on how they settle.

the description is accurate.

I am on the slightly more aggressive eibach sportlines, if that gives you any indication. sportlines are closer to 2"

I'd say you'll get a 1.2-1.7/2.0 inch drop average. I only have eibach springs and ive prolly dropped about 1.5 inches, maybe more. As long as you angle your speed bumps youll be fine. I have no trouble I just have to go very slow over speed bumps.

Looking at the photos submitted in the link you posted in your original thread, it looks like a 1.0 - 1.5+ drop. The black car still has the stock wheels & tires on it, and the fenders appear to be just above at the top of the tires up front....alittle higher in the rear. Knowing this, you can go to your car and take some ruff measurements. It should give you some idea of what to expect.

I'm on the same springs and don't have any problem with speed bumps. Stock body though.

My car has the same springs, the Eibach Pro Kit, I have no problem with speed bumps, small or the ones that have the flat top. Some entrances to places are hard but you just take them at a wider angle. I have the stock body but my chin spoiler extends the front end a bit.

I have a 2013 gt premium, with a 1 to 1.5 drop, what size wheels would be best?

I put canuck springs on my '07 GT and the description said 1" front 2" rear and it was more like 2" front and 3" rear...zero body roll tho'
So, if I understand correctly, the struts andf shocks are designed to work with the lowering springs...I did not replace the struts and shocks on my '07...just springs. The ride suffered quite a bit...really stiff. It seems like the traction improved with the rear so much lower.
