That doesn’t make sense. Stick a tube down the gas filler neck until it is in the tank and syphon the gas out. What is in the 2005 and newer fords that prevents this from working?

Yes, you could do this (with the key on, engine off) but if you jump the wrong pins you could easily fry your PCM by sending a high amount of current down a low current circuit, or blow a fuse if your lucky.

Yeah, the manual is telling you to use an expensive tool to syphon out the gas through the gas filler whole/tube. It sticks a long tube down into the gas tank and sucks the gas out. Same as a hand syphon pump.

I tried a hand pump and about 8 ft of hose and it will not reach the fuel there is something blocking it. I talked to the dealer and they said they are syphon proof to prevent theft of fuel since the new cars and trucks do not have gas caps. they can do it by unhooking the fuel line at the fuel rail and the have a program they hook up to the car and it will tell the computer to turn on the fuel pump. a ford program 5500 bucks they wont or cant sell it even if a person wanted to buy it.

If your going to be removing fuel often you might look into http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...9224_200129224 or something similar to make your siphoning go faster.
I would not use alligator leads. You are dealing with Fuel and fuel vapors here in a confined space. The last thing you want is an ignition point (spark) if the lead pops loose, KABOOM!

Anyways, use the appropriate connectors to attached the pump to the wires, and make the connection point where you turn the juice on through a switch or at least 4 or 5 feet outside of the vehicle to reduce unintended combustion.
