Lighted Sill Plates lighting help?
I have a 2010 Mustang gt, Im installing a set of Roush Lighted sill plates and I followed this tutorial:
https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...with-pics.html
My wires are a different color than the ones mentioned there but I was able to get everything going...or so I thought...
Everything Lights up but now but as my dome lights & sill plates "fade" and turn off the "fuse" box on the engine comparment make as a weird rattle / rrrrrr grrrrr type of sound. I don't think that's normal so what could be causing that? did I tap into the wrong power wire?.
I used the Brown / Purple stripe for Power & Light Dry Green / white stripe for ground?
any ideas?

Okay So I figured out that my ground wire going to the second sill plate is the problem. When I connect it to my main ground wire that where the bad stuff happens. How would I go about wiring the ground for the second one?
I have lighted sills also. Are yours the two wire or 4 wire set up? Mine were the 4 wire type and I set them up originally for a single blue color. I've gone to an ambient console now, and have since wired in all 4 wires so that I have all the color combinations that Ford has available.
