I'd raise hell with upper management of that dealership. it is unacceptable to be without a car for too long while they experiment with bits and pieces parts replacement instead of just solving the damn issue. you bought a new car under warranty, now you are without a car.. it should not result in this much downtime.

customer satisfaction goes a long ways, considering how many people use review sites before doing business at places these days..

Wow! That is horrible customer service not getting a loaner. That dealer is in the stone age. Find a new one.

That was me back in 2007.

My 2005 sat in the dealership for 3 weeks while engineers "tried" to figure out why my car and interior always reeked of oil / gas smell.

Turns out I had a faulty cylinder head which they replaced, but they did not compensate me for a rental.

General manager of the dealership wouldn't give me a courtesy car, nor would they pay for a rental, Ford HQ told me to screw off and I was left on my own.

There is a reason why Ford didn't go bankrupt like GM or Dodge, they save money by screwing over existing customers.

Welcome to the forum, Jenzie. I want to help you to get back in your ride by escalating this up to your regional customer service manager. So I can do this, please send me a PM with your full name, VIN, approximate mileage, best daytime phone number, and dealer name/state.

Default Update

I contacted Ford Service. The Regional Manager offered me a rental car which I picked up yesterday. In addition advised that they were able to bump the priority and have the head sent even though it is on backorder. I wonder if Ford Engineering uses the design by guess development cycle.
