Default xexon headlight bulbs

I was wondering if anyone has put the blue xexon bulbs in their mustang.

I'm looking to make my headlights look a little on the blue side instead of the stock yellowish color. Just wondering if anyone has used the xexon bulbs or if everyone just went with HID's from retro solutions.

These are my 35W HIDs, installed them about a week ago. They are only 5000K, but for some reason come up much more blue in pics/video. I would recommend HIDs as those cheap blue tint bulbs will only burn out quicker (higher wattage in a simple halogen bulb equals short life), those ebay bulbs are not true "xenon" gas filled, just cheap knockoffs with bad light output due to the higher color temperature. I had them for a month or so before my high beams burned out lol.

Make SURE you get capped bulbs if you do go with HIDs in your stock housing, otherwise you will be blinding a lot of people.

Did you use the retro solutions HID's. I was looking at theirs and thinking about buying the 55K ones

Yes it was the RetroSolutions digital brand kit. Many members have the 55W, but as I was paranoid about glare and getting hassled by police so I did not go with that wattage (plus with the iffy alternators in the S197s I felt no need to draw even more power to the lights lol).

Either way, you can't go wrong. MadStang has a very nice writeup on here, I used that for reference and had no problems whatsoever.

I was also looking at the recon diamond white xenon h13 bulbs. They have either 5500k or 4600k bulbs. Anyone have any experience with these bulbs
