Interesting, I was not aware that the saleens came with those types of headlights. That's pretty nifty!

Entaille, I don't think you're ruining the thread at all, in fact, varying experiences and opinions are what help people make informed decisions!

LOL, you would hate my '06. I only installed the HIDs because I tinted the headlights. Noone's getting blinded, lol

Here are video's of the Retro-Solution 55wHID kit

Then disregard those people. Generally I used to get flashed by ******** whenever I had my fogs on along with my headlights (and this was when I had stock everything!), I've been on the receiving end of plenty of S197 fog lights (and mustangs sit much lower than most of these other cars flashing us) and I never had a problem with anyone's factory units (be it stock HID or stock with fogs). As another member once put it, those people are just staring directly at our lights then getting their jollies off to flashing someone. Of course you're going to get blinded if you stare right at the source, in that case I've been blinded by stock taurauses, fusions, camrys, and accords lol.

I put in the silverstar ultras in oct or nov 2006, and they still haven't burned out.

Ford Rangers and F-150s are my least favorite. There's a Lexus that has very bright stock lights as well.
