OP, I have been reading some other android forums with people with similar issues, check the sync website and see if your phone is compatible a lot of people are being told that their phone is not supported by sync for reading text messaging some have been able to update sync and are able to get it to work. Seems like it has something to do with the inability of sync to read text messages on newer cell phones apple and android OS. Dawghouse, the upgraded radio with touch screens probably all come with a HD, not the regualr non-touchscreen radios. We just have a cd player as well as sync.

 

yea I didnt get the electronic package since I already had a double din deck I bought usb yesterday and we'll find out if there any issues or if there is a HDD built in
