Default Found a different way to deal with paint bubbeling on hood

I was pulling my hair out trying to decide what kind of hood to replace my '06 GT hood with. It has the infamous paint bubbles on the leading edge. This has been worked on twice and is back again. I was looking at a steel hood, a fiberglass hood and a carbon fiber hood. I was convinced that which ever I chose I would be unhappy with the results.
Then, I saw a product on American Muscle's web site called a smoked bug deflector. It is a dark smoke color that will look good on my yellow hood covering the entire front edge. It requires no drilling of the hood. there were many reviews from people that were buying it and using it for exactly this purpose and most all raved about it. Hey, $80 vs. $500-$$700 plus painting is a no brainer. I love my stock hood with Boss 302 stripe and Roush hood scoop. My Redline Tuning hood lifts work great with it. My deflector is on order, Item #53302, $79.99.

Awesome! You're going to love the deflector, it will definitely help out with the problems you're experiencing.

Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the future!
