Question Louver Help

I have been looking at louvers online and they seem outrageously priced. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get rear and quarter louvers affordably?

Define "affordably"...

IMO, if you can find painted quarter window louvers for under $200 you're doing good. And a decent painted aluminum rear window louver typically runs about $400 or more. I managed to find a set of A-H aluminum louvers (matte black) for $300 and STILL paid over $100 for a great matching paint job.

I was wondering if someone happened to know of a website that maybe had an off-brand version of sorts or something that would cut the cost or maybe if they "know a guy".

Have you checked americanmuscle.com? I got mine there and they came prepainted for 200 some. The paint matched almost perfectly, you can only tell a difference up close because there is more silver flakes in it than i had on my car.

I would suggest you look at some of the sponsors websites and compare prices. Like American Muscle, Late Model Restoration, or maybe peruse the for sale section of the forums to see if you cant find something. And I believe that American Muscle also does price matching if you find a product at a lower price. And Nuke is on par with the price brackets; they seem high to me too but I cant find any place that has them for less.

Mine came from AM for around $200 pre-painted. The color matches and the finish is pretty good. There were some pits that bugged me but you really don't notice them once they're on the car. These are the OEM look ones.

I'm still curious what your budget is. Modding isn't cheap. And if you're pinching pennies but want to mod, I'd consider using those pinched pennies for a CAI & tune before I went broke on appearance mods, but that's just me.

+1

Those were the first mods I did, they made a noticeable difference in how it responded and how it sounded.
