Default Trans fluid on floor

Anybody else had this issue with automatic trans, If I run it hard thru the gears I always have a little puddle of trans fluid on floor next morning. Is this just do to pressure build up or should I check for trans leak?

Not a leak most likely. Our automatic vents hot fluid out of the top of the trans into the bell housing which ends up on your garage floor. JDM makes a trans catch can which will collect that fluid and hold until the trans cools down. It then flows back into it and you have lost no fluid. First thing you need to do is check your fluid as your gonna be low. Second is order that catch can, it's a must for hard driven autos.

I believe I posted a thread about installing mine a few years back.

$160 for two pieces of welded aluminum, cheap fuel hose, a brass fitting and four screws? ouch.

I agree its overpriced but its a really nice piece. You could fab one up if you have the time, its actually a simple setup. But if your busy as sh*t like me, it easier just to buy all the parts ready to install.
