boost gauge swap

Default boost gauge swap

Ok here's th deal.....I want to swap my white boost gauge with the all black boost gauge.....the install is in the drivers side air vent....how long will it take and does it require new wiring .....I'm thinking that it doesn't but not sure...help me obi one Kenobi your my only hope.....

You can use the same wiring and most likely the same boost line from the old gauge. Assuming this is a manual gauge? You shouldn't even need to cut the old brass ferrule off.

Is this the gauge you want to get?

That guage uses a different kind of vacuum line than most I've seen. It almost looks like fish tank air line. I'm surprised that doesn't collapse under vacuum.

Pull your gauge out and see what the back looks like.
