Default BBK Problem on 06 V6

Ok, Please anyone can you help I have an 06 V6 Mustang. I placed a BBK 70mm Throttle body and CAI a lone with a Bama Tune (91 octane). I check the voltage proir to placing the BBK on. After installing I test drove the car, The car will drive but as soon as I stomp on it the angry wrench pops on and the car limps back. The codes are 2104 and 2100 and another throttle one. I clear the codes the car runs fine until I get into it again. Any ideas BESIDES NOT BEING HEAVY FOOTED!

PS Does anyone know the true voltage setting for the throttle body. My weird *** voltage reader read 3.83 on the stock one before the installation of the BBK

Welcome to the land of "I should have checked the forum before wasting money on an aftermarket TB".

Advice: return to the stock TB and return the BBK TB to the store.

Agreed. Too many complaints of problems with the 70mm TB. You can also use the ones that Jerry618 is selling on eBay. They are ported and polished factory TB's, but they do perform a bit better than the stock one. They run about 100, but to me, are money well spent. I hope you get your stuff together. Good luck.

The voltage should be .5 when at an idle and when floored it will be around 4.5 volts

I was told by BBK the voltage should be around 1.19 to 1.33 the norm is 1.22 but I must have a faulty reader cause mine reads 3.83

I've never, knock on wood, had a problem with my BBK 70mm TB. I've noticed little better throttle response and a smidgen better perf-wise. My only complaint is the whistle.... that noise is so annoying. Do you hear the same whistle?
