Busted power outlets (whoops)
the other day I overjuiced both the cigarette lighter outlets in my car..... it's probably a fuse but I have no idea which ones it would be. Anybody know?
thanks
thanks
Over juiced BOTH outletts?
Damn.. now you know... you can't power a 109" flat screen TV with those things!
Now.. good question.. I looked at the manual and it doesn't specify which fuse feeds the accessory ports.

I tried the other one and it did the same to that too.
Earlier i was trying to use the data logging with the XCal2 but the battery in my laptop is crap and only lasts for like 15 minutes. I have a transformer, that is why I wanted to get the outlets fixe, so I could record the ownage

thanks
Look at the manual on pages 172 and 169 (picture of fuse box).
It might be fuses 61 (Instrument panel power point #1) and 64 (power point #2 console).
Looks like 20A fuses, maybe yellow in color?

Glad it helped!
By the way--blowing 20A fuses is pretty stiff--be careful
You can grab an electronic copy of the manual from here:

I have an electronic copy at work, which is what I used to look it up..hehe.
I actually got the manual and other info from the Ford site...registered, put my car in, etc. It gives you service schedules, too--which can be pretty handy!
