coolant leak 2006 V6 need help badly (pic uploaded)

Ford has not made the thermostat out of metal; therefore the plastic one is the only choice.
I received a quote from a Ford Dealership here in GA and they were close to $500!
I purchased the whole kit from Autozone (upper/lower thermostat/O-ring) already assembeled. I also bought a new sensor.

Thats 100% the thermostat housing. Takes about an hour, 2 tops to do yourself. I think I paid about 20-30 on amazon for the part itself along with the O-ring. I went ahead and replaced the thermostat while I had it opened up. It'd be a great time to replace any hoses if there are any signs of extra wear.

It really is simple to do, I'm not very mechanically inclined but I tackled this with ease, basic hand tools is all you need. Save that money you'd be paying a shop on future mods
