Default question about bama intune

I own a 13' GT Auto for several month now and i notice it jerks from a dead stop preparing to make a 90 degree left or right turn. The car hesitates when i lightly or moderately step on the gas pedal then all of sudden engine decides to kick in and inevitably jerking the car. Does this tune correct this problem? Also i think it has something to do with the transmission computer memory learning your driving habits. I remember few month ago when i reset my data log by unplugging my battery completely for 1 hr, the car feels like a different beast. The car was really responsive in term of throttle response and the car felt really light on its feet but few hundred miles later car goes back to hesitation again.

Not sure why, but I wouldn't go for the OBAMA tune....

If your issue is related to Adaptive Learning, assuming the 5.0 PCM still uses Adaptive Learning like on the 4.6L, you'll need to find out from the tech guys at BAMA if the tune will resolve it. On the 4.6L, it did NOT and we still need to disconnect the battery to reset it.

Note that many a hesitation and jerky throttle response issue were resolved on the 4.6L with a good custom tune.

We can definitely look into this for you and see if we can tune this out. Give the Bama team a call and they'll gladly answer any questions you may have!

Our Bama tuning specialist are in the building Monday-Saturday!
