Exclamation "mushy" gears?

Problem just reared its ugly head in my 2012 5.0. 3rd and 4th gear barely work anymore. You semi-slot the gear in then push it the rest of the way in. I don't really know how to describe it other than mushy. 4th barely even accepts the gear anymore. A little research suggests either a fork, cable, or bearing issue. Please help, thanks in advance!

Does it pop out of gear when you don't force it? The fork or hydraulic line would show itself in all gears I would think. Looks like you are under warranty, take it in and have it looked at and fixed. Always glad to see yet another Alabama post on the forums. Hello from Decatur!

Hello from Madison! And no, it actually goes into gear. But the travel from the neutral position is about half of what it used to be, and then when it's there you have to push it the rest of the way. That's when it feels Mushy. I'm having it looked at tomorrow but being 3rd and 4th it may be a fork issue which scares me

Hello Sterling302,

Please bring your vehicle in to your dealer to have it checked out and speaking to your Service Manager about this. He/She is in the best position to look into this for you. He/she can check into any warranty, assistance, recalls, or Customer Satisfaction Programs that may apply to your vehicle. Let me know the outcome.
