Question CAI kit on Craigslist

I found this on craigslist, and I was wondering if it is a good deal: http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/pts/3970541728.html It's a BAMA tuner and a Steeda CAI for $375 and I could probably haggle a little. How much would it cost to get a new BAMA "account"

You need to make absolutely sure that the tuner is unlocked. Otherwise price goes up alot.

new bama tunes for like is 150 IIRC.
so basically add 150 to the price hes asking, and see if its cheaper then brand new from bama.

also yes, make sure the tuner is unlocked

This looks like a decent deal if the Tuner is unlocked. If the device is still married to the sellers car, it will be no use to you! In order to use a locked device, you'd have to send it back to SCT to be unlocked. SCT charges a fee of $150 to unlock the device.

You'll need to get custom tunes for your PCM code. If you'd like to go with Bama, you can buy into our free tunes for life program for a one time fee of $150!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

The options tab there you check to see if it's "Married" or "Unmarried". That's the best way to check!

The tunes need to be written for YOUR car with YOUR mods. They're not transferable

So if u don't trust him just buy a CAI and tuner. Then you know. If its not unlocked your gonna spend the same amount and if it is you'll save about 100 bucks
