I was wondering if the NON-Shaker(not the 500 or the 1000 just the cd player) have factory amps for each speaker after the head unit. I had a problem the other day and I was thinking this might be true.


Let me know if anyone can confirm this

The Simple Answer is No, the "Non-Shaker" unit (Single CD) does not have amps or upgraded speakers
I purchased my GT with the Stock CD Player and Replaced it with an AVIC-D1 Nav system
New Boston Acustic Speakers, 2 Alpine Amps and a
Scosche custom-fit subwoofer enclosure

How does the Scosche Box sound? a local Stereo shop was telling me the in order for the SUB to sound good it needs to be facing the back of the car, not sideways, but I don't want to give up my trunk space, also he wanted some serious $$$$ to build me a custom box. So i'm thinking he was just trying to scam me.

Simple answer .. So just the oem headunit is pushing it like I thought then. I was making sure I already way installed my system its a bit more custom then
you got there check my sig at the bottom you will be blown away lol...
