A couple questions about swapping 2011 parts to a 2007
Ive seen a few threads discussing Coyote swaps but the general consensus was that it was too expensive. With more and more new GTs being on the road (and more and more being wrecked) Im wondering how much more practical the idea is getting. Aside from finding an engine and transmission how much more is needed for the swap? Does everything bolt right up (drive shaft??).
Also, I was reading on another forum that someone swapped a 2010 interior into an earlier s197. Anyone know anything about that? I would love to see some pics. I have the IUP package as well as roush seats but the idea of a nicer interior seems interesting.

Both can be done, the coyote swap is happening more and more frequently, I saw someone swapped one into a foxbody. Lito over on S197 did a coyote swap with a blower. I believe there is a little more work with the wiring, but still doable and for the interior since everything still uses the same design concept on the inside, it would fit in there still, it may take a little more work. I have no complaints about my interior, I still want to do a rear seat delete, racing seats and I would be content with it.
