You can put them on, but they might rub. The rears on my car in my sig pic are 18x9.5 +43mm offset and 285/40/18 tires. I don't think I could go another inch to the outside and not rub. Maybe if your car isn't lowered it won't rub, but it might look funny with the tires sticking out past the fenders.

the reason your ^^^^^^^ car wont fit is cause u went freakin 285....lol

you can even put 20x10 if u want in the front and back, it just depends what kinda tires u slap on there

OK here it goes. Eveyone pay attention.....there will be quiz at the end. Stock=235/55r17=255/50r17=275/45r17=295/40r17=235/50r18=255/45r18=275/40r18=295/35r18=255/40r19..etc

Therefore, every increase in width by 20mm you drop down 5% in the aspect ratio, also for every increase of wheel size by one inch you drop down by 5% in aspect ratio......Get it?

Just kidding no quiz

I get that, so does that mean that 18x10's are too big for the back?

18, 19 or 20's in a 10 will fit fine with the proper offset. Keep the tire to maybe 40mm or less

Ok the reason I am asking so many questions is I am probably going to order these within the next day or two so I think I am going with the 18x10's in the rear and the 18x9's in the front but what about the tire? nbk13nw you say 40mm tire? what would I need for the front an back tires?
thanks if you can help!

so i take it that no one has found out the max offset and rim and tire sizes that this car had hold....cause all the other cars have their limits posted everywhere in the web, but this car is an 05 though

Max offset depends on the width of the wheel, the more offset, the more narrow the wheel must be. I think the max tire width without rubbing or rolling fenders is 295mm, but you might get away with 315's and no rub if you don't lower and/or you install stiffer shocks.
