Looks awesome, beginnings of a little project it looks like! How is that plastic armrest cover? I see these around and I'm just curious on if that's supposed to actually be comfortable...

Painting the console and the side pieces ran $240 and the cover for the armrest was a ridiculous $99 considering it's nothing but a molded plastic piece. I've blown $99 on far worse, I guess...

It's different! Off topic, your leathers seats have taken a beating. I had a 2004 GT with leather up until 2010 and it still looked great. I'm hoping my 2013 seats are as equally good. I'm guessing because you have a convertible?

I like it. Something different and creative.
Thats why I went with Saddle Interior.......the "Black Hole" effect of the Mustang Interior needed some COLOR!

+1 on the new shift boot and contrast stitching......I think that should be your next mod

It looks good, question is though how will it hold up in that high contact area.

I'm more worried about the area where my knee hits the side trim. The armrest is hard plastic so it should hold up ok.
